The Red ‘n’ Green will accept only signed letters to the editor, although names will be withheld from print upon request. Any student, faculty, staff, administrator, or community member is allowed to submit letters to the editor. We reserve the right to return letters for corrections before publishing. The staff will not print any material that is libelous, obscene, or malicious as that speech is not protected by the First Amendment.
I think that the bridge day is a good thing. You only have to come in if you have D’s or F’s so you can catch up on what needs to be done. It gives students the chance to want to pass and do better. I feel like it is a great idea for those that need an extra day to get their grades up before the semester ends. I would also say it is a great idea because even if you don’t have D’s or F’s you could still come for one class if you wanted to just improve your grade and then leave afterwards. I really think this is a great opportunity.
