Veterans Day assembly honors service, inspires future service members
Principal Bryant Bednarek directs high school students to the doors they may exit from after the annual safety drill walk to Clay Lamerton’s little gym on Oct. 30. Science teacher Ben Sanderfoot has been the high school representative of the District Safety Committee since its creation in 2017. “I appreciate that our school district places a high priority on keeping everybody safe,” Sanderfoot said.
Students use drill skills in real-life emergencies
The team runs through offense near the end of practice. The girls' work has really focused on togetherness as they prepared for their first game. “Our coach is very positive and has high expectations for us. Over the summer we worked on more individual skills, practices are now focused on team game and plays,” guard Becca Bartol said.

Musical Director Abbe Lane spent many rehearsals focusing on learning the music with piano before incorporating dances. “I like the funny practices when we’re kind of just goofing around and getting our songs memorized,” junior Abby Shattuck said.
Musical generates skills across community
