Cornutrition, a small business with three locations in Berlin, Oshkosh and Ripon offers customers fun and energetic drink options. They are open Monday-Saturday from 6:30 a.m.- 2 p.m., with hours varying on Saturday. They offer many drink options such as smoothies, tea bombs, beauty bombs, aloe, ‘happy bowls’, protein coffee, and kids drinks. They offer new flavors weekly as well as monthly flavors. It’s a great place to visit and try out healthy drinks.
Upon entering, customers are greeted by their friendly barista, ready to create their unique drink. If customers are signed up for their rewards they have the option to collect 11 stamps, then receive four dollars off their next drink, which can be scanned after ordering.
The menus have a lot of options for everyone and offer some unique combinations, all while being healthy. Some benefits from their drinks include mental focus, vitamin C support, provides hydration, supports nutrient absorptions, etc. From their weekly menu for Easter week they had the options of choosing from Spring, Rabbit, Rain, Hop, Peeps, and Easter. Out of these options the Peeps option consisted of cranberry, pomegranate, Pink Starburst, and blue raspberry. While they prepare the drinks customers are more than welcome to sit down and wait. The drinks are prepared quickly, and once they’re done they will be ready for pick up at the counter.
One thing to note is to make sure the drinks are properly mixed, otherwise the powder will get sucked up through the straw, giving it a weird flavor. With the Peeps drink, all the flavors mixed very well together giving it a good sweet taste. The Pink Starburst did seem to taste a little stronger than the other flavors. The appearance of the drink is extremely aesthetically pleasing. The light blue gave off the feeling of a bright summer day, and the red of the heat that’s about to come. This all made it more refreshing when drinking.
Overall, it’s always fun to see what colors the drink will end up having, and how they mix. It would be better to have Cornutrition stay open a little longer for those who can’t make it because of work, school, or anything else. To work around this, they do offer deliveries Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. The drinks are very well made and the kind staff makes it worth going back. Cornutrition has an overall score of 5/5.
