Red ‘n’ Green Family Recipes: Chip Dip
This is the fourth in a series of Red ‘n’ Green family recipes. Each month a different Red ‘n’ Green staff member will teach you how to make a classic recipe from their family’s kitchen. They will also be looking into the history, stories and memories that are connected to it.
Enjoy this dip with your choice of potato chips. This dip can then be refrigerated until you are ready to eat.

This recipe comes from my mom’s side of the family and has been around for at least 58 years. My great grandma was the first to start making chip dip and her recipe has remained a secret to everyone except that side of my family. Due to keeping this recipe a secret, the quantity of the ingredients have remained unsaid.
We serve chip dip at any big family gatherings such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Father’s Day and more.
