Red ‘n’ Green Family Recipe: Snickerdoodle Cookies

This snickerdoodle recipe is a holiday favorite in my family that my mom makes every year. She makes these cinnamon sweet treats for special events like family get-togethers or birthdays.
1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
¼ tsp. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 ¾ cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. sugar
