Hailey Rodriguez is a Berlin High School senior. She is The Red ‘n’ Green Business Manager. She also plays on the varsity girls softball team. Her goals after graduation are to attend college and achieve her dream of becoming a fifth-grade teacher.

The Red ‘n’ Green staff won first place for General Excellence at the Wisconsin Newspaper Association’s Better Newspaper Contest in Madison on March 7. “We hadn’t entered this contest before, so I was very surprised that we won in the overall category. I didn't know we were competing against bigger schools, and I was extra delighted to see my students’ work recognized,” adviser Shannon Kuehmichel said.
