Freshmen Riley Dempsey and Leah Sonnentag listen to “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root. The two have enjoyed listening to this song together since camping up north in the summer.

Listening to music is something everyone does. Maybe they are a metalhead that listens to rock, or someone that would rather enjoy country and pop. Everyone listens to music at some point during their day. The Red ‘n’ Green decided to take a deeper dive to see what people are listening to and in this installment we are featuring freshmen Riley Dempsey and Leah Sonnentag.

 

Q: What is one of your favorite songs?

A: “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root.

 

Q: Why do you like this song?

A: We like this song because it reminds us of summer and camping up north.

 

Q: What is your favorite thing about this song?

A: Our favorite part is the instrumentals in the beginning and the lines that says, “You know what they say about the young.”

 

Q: How long have you liked it?

A: For over a year now.

 

Q: Where did you discover this song?

A: We discovered this song from the movies “Ice Age” and “Parent Trap.” 

 

Q: What does it mean to you?

A: It means camping and having fun with friends.
