BHS begins production of "Kodachrome"
Junior Meradeth Reinsbach signs her name on the whiteboard after her interview for Youth of the Year. Reinsbach won Tri-county Youth of the Year award and now will compete state wide. “Mrs. Eydie was the main person that wanted me to try out for Youth of the Year, and Mrs. Pollesch also was a big help in the whole process,” Reinsbach said.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction gave the high school an overall score of 56.9. “There’s a lot of chatter out there for some that are kind of negative about our schools or negative about our community,” Superintendent Dr. Emmet Durtschi said, “And I would challenge them all to think about what we can do together to actually make it better, instead of just pointing fingers.”
School report card results less than satisfactory
The Writing for Publications class created a newsletter with news, feature, entertainment, and sports articles about happenings at BHS.

This year's VEX Robotics Club machine is designed to grab a stake and add rings to it. The more rings placed on different steaks the more points earned.

BHS is having a Bridge Day on Jan. 17 to allow students the opportunity to fix their grades. “The purpose of Bridge Day is to give students one last opportunity to improve their grade, as a final sort of wrap up,” Principal Bryant Bednarek said.

Seniors Charlotte Ars and Lisa Vizzari are foreign exchange students, Ars is from Belgium and Vizzari is from Italy. They are taking a year of school in America. Ars and Vizzari were walking in the snow on the golf course enjoying the cold weather. “I am going to make the most of my summer and spend my time with friends and family. I also need to study because in September I'll start my senior year of high school in Italy and I have exams on the subjects they did this year,” Vizzari said.
