Staff editorial: Passing referendum essential
The cast of “The Lightning Thief” rehearse their song “The Campfire Song.” The musical will run Nov. 14-16 at 7 p.m. “Rehearsals have been progressing so wonderfully,” senior Aleea Lichtenberg said. “This is the most prepared BHS has ever been for a show.”

The seniors celebrated their senior night on Oct. 15, the same night they had their pink out game. The seniors made posters showcasing their whole volleyball career ever since they started playing. “This team has become like family to me and I am beyond grateful to have their support,” senior Samantha Bartels said.

All of them are at the ECC meet in Ripon holding the conference winners plaque. “Next Friday the 25th we will go to Waupaca for sectionals,” Shattuck said. “There will be 15 teams there and the top two will go to the state meet. I am very excited and feel like we have a chance to go to state as a team.”

Berlin High School played against KML at home and lost 8-0. Their next game is the Lomira tournament tomorrow.

The girls swim team attended the meet at Appleton West invite on Friday, Sept. 13. “I think I performed pretty good for it being one of the first meets this season,” junior Kyla Manata said.
