Boys varsity basketball team faced Marshall, a non-conference team, on Jan. 25 with an ending score of 58-44, resulting in a loss for the Indians. The forensics club met for the first time this year on December 11. With many meetings to come, the students will have enough time to practice for their events before the first competition. “The first few times we meet we run through the set up of the category and the expectations. Once the piece is put together they practice it at home and with either Ms. Paskey or myself. We watch, listen, and critique to help find areas the students can improve,” adviser Nicole King said.

When we are virtual we listen to the instructor as she goes through a slideshow and we go over all the stuff we need to learn,” Ewald said. “When we are in person we work with our partners and we practice all the skills on each other.”

Towards the end of September, members of FFA participated in their annual roadside cleanup. This was one of the activities that they were able to continue to do this year. "Activities that we usually do in the fall are our back to school cookout, we go to a corn maze together and we do roadside cleanup," Ott said. "These are all activities that we are able to continue to do this year."
